Redstone Trophy Hunts

Your destination point is Norman Wells, Northwest Territories. Direct flights are available from most U.S. cities to Edmonton, Alberta. Canadian North offers 737 service daily to and from Edmonton and Norman Wells.

You should arrive in Norman Wells on the morning your hunt date begins. Upon arrival at Norman Wells, you are met and flown to our base camps by float plane. North Wright Air is the charter service that we use. Their phone number is (867) 587-2288. Charter fees to base camp are the hunter's responsibility ($2,000.00 Canadian + GST). You will depart on the last day of your hunt date, and need a room reservation in Norman Wells that evening. Reservations are necessary, and suggested at the Yamouri Inn.

The Yamouri Inn accommodates 32 guests in 24 rooms, and offers private baths, phones, TV, licensed dining, lounge, cabaret, and coffee shop. Airport transportation is also available.

While in Norman Wells, you will have ample time to pay government trophy fees, secure export permits, and package capes and horns. Meals and accommodations used while in Norman Wells is the hunter's responsibility. Also, any extra flights that hunters ask for during their hunt other than scheduled flights are the hunter's responsibility.

You will need your birth certificate or passport while traveling. Also make sure your travel and medical insurance covers your trip to Canada.

Please be aware that adverse weather can be a factor in all flight schedules to and from Norman Wells and our base camps.
